Stetson Wright Builds a Commanding 2026 All-Around Lead Across Two Events

Stetson Wright’s 2026 regular season produced the clearest lead on the all-around board—and two separate championship positions. The September 30 standings list Wright first in the all-around at $417,840, third in saddle bronc riding and fourth in bull riding.

The top five all-around standings

Rank Cowboy Hometown Earnings
1 Stetson Wright Beaver, UT $417,840
2 Haven Meged Miles City, MT $223,420
3 Brushton Minton Witter Springs, CA $149,228
4 Wacey Schalla Arapaho, OK $119,933
5 Cole Clemons Okeechobee, FL $113,467

A $194,420 advantage at the top

Wright’s reported lead over second-place Haven Meged is $194,420. The size of that margin reflects a season built in two roughstock events rather than one standings lane.

His event positions are nearly as important as the all-around total. Wright is third in saddle bronc riding with $267,030 and fourth in bull riding with $279,443. If the audited fields match the season-close tables, he would enter Las Vegas with two nightly opportunities to add to his all-around earnings.

Two event races create twice the pressure

Competing in more than one event creates an obvious earnings opportunity, but it also doubles the physical and mental workload. Saddle bronc riding rewards rhythm and control through an eight-second ride; bull riding asks for a separate equipment setup, feel and response to a different kind of animal power.

The NFR compresses that challenge into ten consecutive nights. Recovery time is short, livestock draws change and a result in either event can affect both an event championship and the all-around race.

Wright is also the defending champion

The official NFR past-winners list names Wright as the 2025 all-around and bull riding world champion. That makes the 2026 standings more than a comeback story: he is carrying two titles into a season-close snapshot that again places him at the center of the championship conversation.

What remains unofficial

The numbers are official published standings data, but the final 2026 contestant roster is not yet posted. Eligibility checks and association audits happen after the season closes, so the responsible next step is to wait for the confirmed field rather than turning a rankings screenshot into an invitation list.
